Batsy ("the app") turns one selfie into photorealistic photos of you in Halloween costumes. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. The short version: no accounts, your selfie is used only to generate your photos, and your results stay on your device.
When you request a costume photo, your selfie is sent over an encrypted connection, through our processing proxy, to a third-party AI image service solely to generate that photo. We do not store your selfie or your generated photos on our servers. Your selfie is not used to train AI models. The AI service processes the image to produce the result and does not retain it beyond short-term operational processing. Generated photos are delivered back to the app and stored only on your device.
Batsy has no sign-up and no user accounts. We do not collect your name, email address, or contacts.
Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription and purchase status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and purchase history; it cannot identify you personally. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.
We do not use advertising SDKs and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
The app asks for camera or photo library access only when you take or pick a selfie. It accesses only the photo you choose.
Your selfie and generated photos live on your device. Deleting a photo in the app, or deleting the app, removes them. We keep nothing server-side to delete. Analytics and crash data are retained by our providers under their standard retention windows.
Batsy is not directed at children under 13, and you must meet your region's minimum age for App Store purchases to use it.
